Villa Maria is more than just a safe and secure accommodation option exclusively for women; it is a home away from home for female students.

Situated in Tamboerskloof at the foot of Table Mountain, Villa Maria accommodates 55 women in a historic and tranquil setting, and is within walking distance of great shops and popular eateries, as well as a doctor’s practice and pharmacy. 

Public transport is made easy with MyCiTi bus stop on Villa Maria’s doorstep, and UCT’s Jammie Shuttle a five minutes’ walk away. It also sports an important and rare commodity in Cape Town’s city centre: safe and secure private parking!

Private bedroom rentals start at an affordable R10 300 per month for a 10-month period (including three meals a day).

Single bedrooms of various sizes, each furnished with a bed, desk and chair (residents may request an optional bookshelf), and ample cupboard space.

3 Meals A Day

Three delicious home-cooked meals from an extensive menu – served daily in our sun-soaked dining room – are included in your monthly rent.

Shared Bathroom

Shared bathrooms are equipped with baths and showers, with each bathroom shared by approximately four or five residents.

WiFi

Access to reliable WiFi allows you to study, work, or stream your favourite series.

Shared Spaces

Make use of the shared study, work spaces or TV lounge for work or leisure.

Security

Fully fenced & disc access controlled building, and keys for your bedroom.
